A glass cutter is used to score the glass – introducing a fault in the glass, making it easy to break the glass along its length. The blue tool is used to assist in breaking the glass along this line.

Since my wife confiscated the first, I have to do another one . Still 2 more weeks labour.I rarely work with entire sheets of glass, as can clearly be seen, my “studio” is just a small room with plenty of shoeboxes filled with glass of all types and colours and i works myself piece by piece through the entire lamp shade.It looks like an absolute chaos, but that´s the fun I get out of it.
